Issue with account creation during checkout

    Hi,

    We have an issue with the account creation during checkout. When a customer creates an account with the password in the fluid checkout, the order does not get linked to the account. The order gets marked as a guest. This creates certain issues with group permissions, but also with giving customers points and rewards for purchases.

    I hope that this makes sense.

  • Hi @hpb951,

    We tested this internally this only happens when the client makes the purchase as a guest without checking the “create account” box. We tested this both with Fluid Checkout enabled and disabled as this is a WooCommerce functionality.

    When they create the account during the “checkout as guest” the order is correctly linked to the account.
