I’m not seeing that warning on PHP 8. Can you let me know the steps to replicate the issue on default WordPress install? That way I can take a look and try to resolve asap. Thank you

Hello, i think it’s due to a conflit with my theme (ASTRA wich is one of the most use) because when i switch to the default theme i don’t have this issue anymore with php 8.0. If you have any idea how to fix it i’ll be happy ?? Thank you !

Not sure, but if the issue is with Astra or whatever, best advice would be to copy the related error messages from your site’s error log, and then ask the Astra team for help in resolving. They will best be able to help with issues regarding their own products. Or if you have any further questions about USP, feel free to post them here anytime. Thank you ??

    Hello,

    Here astra’s answer :

The Astra theme and the Astra Pro plugin are not the sources of the issues; rather, the mistakes originate from third-party plugins. Astra is completely ready for versions of PHP 8 and above.

So maybe there is something to do with USP to prevent this error with php8 ?

No, the plugin is developed/tested on PHP 8, and there are zero errors of any kind on default WordPress. I will keep an eye out though, and/or if you (or anyone) can provide steps to repeat the issue, I will be glad to investigate and try to resolve asap.

    hello,
    thank you for asking,
no unfortunately both theme and plugin dev are passing the buck.

My website is blocked to php7 i’ll try to move it to an other server, but i have to wait a little bit before to do that…
