Issue when trying to connect to wordpress.com

  • Hi,

    I am trying to connect jetpack to wordpress.com but I am getting the following error:

    Warning: json_decode() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/thegard4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/_inc/lib/admin-pages/class.jetpack-admin-page.php on line 163

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/thegard4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/_inc/lib/admin-pages/class.jetpack-admin-page.php:163) in /home/thegard4/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php on line 4922

    I have tried deactivating, deleting and reinstalling, and also deleting the folder from the cpanel file manager and uploading it again but keep getting the same error.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thank you all for the reports! We’re working on getting this fixed, and will release a new version of Jetpack to solve that issue later today.

    If you’d like, you can apply the following patch to your own installation of Jetpack right now to solve the issue:
    https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/pull/5735/files

    Another alternative would be to edit your site’s wp-config.php file, and make sure WP_DEBUG is set to false.

    We’ve now released Jetpack 4.4.1 to solve this issue. Let me know if you still experience issues after updating!
