• all other media uploads with no issue but my website relies heavily on animated webp for every single post. The files do eventually upload but with some errors and quirks that should not be happening.

first it will get to 100 percent and then start over before eventually returning this error:

There was an error opening the temp file /www/wwwroot/mysite.com/wp-content/bfu-temp/1-ed5307aad2cd9c87d108f5d380c914837983940a.part for writing. Available temp directory space may be exceeded or the temp file was cleaned up before the upload completed.

simply closing the media library in post editor and re-opening it shows the image did indeed upload succesfully to the library i am thankful for that but why all these issues? I wish it was just as simple as any other image and as far as I know wordpress is supposed to support fully animated webp.

the above error is when uploading directly to media library. AS FOR UPLOADING WHEN ADDING A POST this is the error that displays instead:

The server cannot process the image. This can happen if the server is busy or does not have enough resources to complete the task. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2560 pixels.

BTW I have a dedicated server with plenty of space and resources. Also all PHP extensions such as imagick are active.
