Issue slow loading Entries

  • Hi,

    For 3 days now, when entering Entries to create articles, it takes 43 seconds to fully load the page. I tried deactivating all the plugins and changed the theme to Twenty Twenty activating only the Classic Editor, the issue continues, when deactivating the Classic Editor everything works correctly.

    I have other sites with similar configurations and it works fine, only this one, which is a WordPress Multisite, is not working well.

    I tried several browsers and the issue continues.

    What could be happening?

    Hi @alaid – that sounds very odd. You mentioned it is on a Multisite install – do you see it happening for all sites within the Multisite install?

    Hi,

    Yes, it’s strange, but it happens. I already tried uninstalling and installing the plugin, but nothing changes. Currently only a single site is operating.

    I really don’t see how this could be related to the plugin itself. Can you confirm that you don’t even have “must use” plugins automatically installed your hosting?

    My general recommendation is to confirm with your hosting as they should have a better understanding of what part of code is taking these resources.
