    Hi,

First I want to say this is a wonderful plugin and it really helps with content.

Since the update we have noticed a small issue with the SEO ‘scoring’ the info part gave us an unhappy face and stated

    >> Image alt attributes: Images on this page do not have alt attributes that reflect the topic of your text. Add your keyphrase or synonyms to the alt tags of relevant images! <<

The problem is the keyword / phrase is shown in the alt text for image. Although the info suggests we do not have the keyword phrase in the alt text.

Any ideas? Or is it a small bug?

    Thanks Tracey

    Hi @scruffy1,

Sorry for the trouble you’re experiencing with our plugin after the recent update.

We are unable to replicate the issue with the latest Yoast SEO version on our test environment. Can you please try the following suggestions:

    1. Clear all your caching from your theme, plugin, server, CDN like CloudFlare or browser. To clear the cache from a browser use this guide: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.

    2. Just to confirm, can you please edit the post and re-add the alt text with the focus keyphrase and update the page? Do you still see the SEO message?

    3. Are you using Classic editor or any other page builder like Elementor, Visual Composer?

    Hi Suwash,

Option 2 worked although it took 3 attempts to get it to work.

    Thanks Tracey
