    `I have been manually backing my site but I updated updraft to the latest version and now it doesn’t seem to be backing up.

    I’ve tried a number of times in recent days but no success.

    I try to desactivate the option ??back up on other site?? but it does not work
    I prefer to copy manually the files on my own support but i don’t know how going back to my previous option`

    Hi @fabl3

    Thank you for that backup log.

    From the log I can see your splitsize is set to 400MB, your on version 1.16.62 and using the latest backup.php file.

    From the logs everything appears to be ok theres 76 archives, 75 of them are around 400MB and the last is 65MB.

    I don’t see no warnings or errors.

    The backup files that you can see that are 36b could you send me the filenames or a screenshot of them?

    I’m wondering if they are from a previous run.

    Please find the screenshots here https://we.tl/t-FFeLo0WvwC . They are from the same run on 15th October.

    Prior to the 5th October I would only get 15 upload zip files with the setting at 400MB, with upload15 being 93MB is size. If the log is showing 76 files at 400MB, then it is incorrectly recording what is actually being written to disk.

    I reran the backup again yesterday and see 60 upload files on this run. I see 41 x 36b upload files, and only 7 of all the upload files are around the 400MB size and 12 others around the 1MB in size. So the actual backup, is missing data.

    Sorry about the delay, I’m still looking into this for you.

    I’m having troubles reproducing the issue on any of my sites.

    This will need more in depth debugging to track down the problem.

    Thank you for your continued patience while I try to find the cause of the issue.

    I believe I’ve now reproduced and fixed the problem.

    Please could you try the following backup.php file:

    Then try another backup.

    Tried the new backup file and it was successful – no longer seeing the multitude of 36b files. It was fast too, with the issue it took way over an hour, but with this version, all done inside 15 minutes all looks good.

    Does the newly released version 1.16.63 contain the fix that resolves the issue I have been seeing and fixed in the temporary patch?
