Issue removing "nothing found" on Gateway Homepage

  • Hi,

    I am attempting to make a very simple webpage that has a static homepage and no blog. I created a static homepage, called home, but I still have a section on my homepage saying “nothing found”, as in I do not have any blog posts yet. I am having trouble finding out how to remove this “nothing found”.

    It seems as though a “featured content” section of 3 blog postings is built into the homepage feature of the Gateway theme I am using. Is there any way to create a static homepage in the Gateway theme, that does not have the “featured content” blog on it, or do I need to change themes to avoid this issue?
