So I recently switched my blog, planeandsimplelife.com through wordpress.com to a self-hosted planeandsimple.com and did the export/import process through my wordpress dashboards.
Everything went smoothly, and I then connected Jetpack. However when I click on the “manage” tab, and then “migrate,” nothing happens. This has been persisting for a few days and on multiple computers and browsers. I read that there is supposed to be a pop-up that asks if I’m sure I want to move my subscribers, and that isn’t happening. Any suggestions?

Hi there! We had a small JavaScript problem in the migration tool that we fixed yesterday – can you try it again to see if it’s working for you?

If not, I’ll be happy to transfer your followers for you. Can send us the request for the transfer via this contact form:
    https://jetpack.me/contact-support/

Please include the URL link to this support thread so we can keep your information together.

    Thank you!

    Thanks so much!

The migration worked, the subscribers have been transferred over. One more question – I don’t know if this is Jetpack related or not, but I noticed my site stats have been reset since the move. Is there anyway I can get those back?

    Thanks!

Your WordPress.com site and your new self-hosted site use two different blog IDs in your account, which is how we’re able to transfer your followers easily using the tool.

Since stats work on a time/date and per-post basis in addition to having an unique blog ID, it’s not as simple as a follower transfer. We are able to merge your stats from your old WordPress.com site to your new site upon request, but the transfer will only work if you exported your WordPress.com site in its entirety to your new site, otherwise we’re not able to perform the merge. Also, we can’t undo a merge after the fact so you need to be sure you want this to be done.

If your new site is a full export of your old site and you confirm you want your stats merged, I would be happy to take care of this for you. I would just need to know the URLs of your old WordPress.com site and your new self-hosted site.

    I hope that clarifies things!

    Hi there,
I’m also unable to migrate my subscribers from wordpress.com (littleredfrench.com) to self-hosted site littleredfrench.com, I have tried to follow a step by step guide but it isn’t giving me the ‘migrate followers’ option. Please can someone help?
    Many thanks
