Issue Loging in to the Admin Control Panel

  • Hi Everyone,
    I have an issue that has been with me for over 5 months and I can not take it anymore (its itching to be solved ??
    when I want to go to the admin control panel I go to,
    —> blog.dermapoise.com/we-admin
    This then takes me to the login page (which it should)
    I login with the correct login information and then it loops back to the login page and again and again…..
    on a closer look I have found that its a problem with the redirect on the url. it reads:
    https://blog.dermapoise.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fblog.dermapoise.com%2Fwordpress%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1
    as you can see from above its trying to take me to blog.dermapoise.com/wordpress/wp-admin which does not exist.

    The work-around I have come up with is to go to blog.dermapoise.com/wp-admin/index.php but I would really really really like to get this fixed as there are other problems that happen as a result of this. for example on is that on the polls I am not able to change or modify a given poll since I guess it is trying to post the changes to the same incorrect URL as above.

    Any thoughts?

    You’ll have to access your WordPress database via phpMyAdmin (most hosting providers offer this in their control panel) and manually change the siteurl and home values to https://blog.dermapoise.com

    Also, bumping posts is against forum rules. The more prominent volunteers here tend to browse the topics with no replies first, so you actually reduce your visibility by bumping your topic. Otherwise, I would have seen it when I browsed the topics with no replies three hours ago.
