    Hello,
thank you for this great plugin.

I installed the plugin and everything works fine. But in the editor (I use the TinyMCE advanced) your entries are listed in the format dropdown (Normal is header 1, header 2 etc.).

What can I do to fix it?

Thank you very much for support!

Hey Andreas, That is technically by design. It is a way for you to highlight text and then select a modal that will be triggered when the selected text/image is clicked.

We are working on better methods in the future.

PS. I’m not sure if you have seen the notice. Easy Modal has moved. Popup Maker( or Easy Modal v3 renamed ), has too many new features to describe. There is a simple migration tool included with Popup Maker to import from Easy Modal.

    Hi Danieliser,
thank you for the quick response.

OK, thats a good way to insert a link easy. But where are the header formats?
It’s a chance to get the header formats again. I need the modal popups rarely, but often the h1, h2 etc.
I can make it in html, but not the contributors.

I’ll take a look at the popup maker! Thank you.

I wish you a happy new year!

Hey Andreas, Technically your heading should be in a seperate dropdown. That would be Font Format, the dropdown we use is for custom classes, like a theme would include, such as “Red Box” which would add a red box class around the selected text.

Are you using any other plugins that modify the editor?

Try popup maker and see if the issue remains.

    Hi Daniel,
I tried out the popup maker, but it doesn’t work. Maybe I have to spend more time to change the plugin. But after installation, import easy modals and deactivation the easy modal plugin I have the same the format issue in the dropdown list.

I use the Theme “X” (Theme X) and this theme comes with the visual composer (Visual Composer )

    I think, thats the problem!

Hmm. I have a clients site that uses WPBakery VC. Let me see if I can do some testing there.

But what your saying is that the standard dropdown located on the second line at the beginning doesn’t contain headings, but rather popups.

They must rearrange the bar somehow to cause that. It may take some digging to find a proper solution.

However another solution may be better. I am working on v1.2 of Popup Maker now which will include a new shortcode that will replace our use of the dropdowns. I likely won’t remove it entirely but we can remove it via filters in your case I believe. If not I will add one in so that it can be corrected that way.
