    Hello,

I’m having trouble with theme internal Javascript that causes a “404 not found” error with the entire post and pages on the site. The error code is “wp-content/themes/generatepress/assets/js/main/min/js?ver=3.0.4“.So, can anyone help me out to fix this issue?

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

The latest theme version is 3.1.3.

Can you update to use the latest version first?

    Let me know ??

I already updated the theme but it looks like it did’nt make changes internally. So, what to do now?

It should not be calling for an older version if it’s updated.

We haven’t had other reports on this either.

Can you make sure all plugin and server cache is cleared?

If that still doesn’t help, then try disabling all plugins and activating the parent theme to test.

Done all the above things but still showed an error. I even delete the current generatepress theme and install a fresh one. Again no sign of a positive result. Now, what should I do next?

    Hello David,

This is my site “fixingguides.com”. Even I change the theme, it displays the same above error message.

    Hi@sevenstar8,

Are you using Ezoic? It seems that your website is serving a JS file which is causing the issue.

    See: https://share.getcloudapp.com/ApuJ65m4

Can you check your settings in Ezoic, and your other caching/optimization plugins? Try to disable any optimization and caching temporarily and see how it goes.

Hope you get to the bottom of this. Kindly let us know how it goes. ??

    Hi,

Yes, I have applied for Ezoic and setup my account on it. Ok, I will check the Ezoic settings and also disable the caching plugin. After that, I will let you know whether it’s working or not.

    (@sevenstar8)

Hello, I removed the cache plugin and even check the Ezoic settings but still can’t fix the issue. I think the main error code from the website needs to be removed; otherwise, it will cause the same issue over and over again.

Besides, should I remove the Cloudflare integration with Ezoic?

    Thanks.

To cover your serve has caches, Ezoic has caches and your CDN has caches. So any one of them or a combination of all of them could be caching the page with the bad request.

You need to ensure that ALL of their caches are cleared and the CDN regenerates fresh copies of your site.

    (@sevenstar8)

Ok, let me clear out the Ezoic cache, and let’s see what will happen next. I will give you an update.

Just to be clear. The Theme has no responsilbity here. The issue will most probably be somewhere between Ezoic and the CDN. Might be best if you speak with those providers.

    (@sevenstar8)

Ok, i will contact with the Ezoic providers.

Hey the issue has been resolved after contacting with ezoic.

And thanks for the support from your team till now.

Glad to hear they found and fixed the issue ??
