I rolled back to 3.15 and it’s working fine. In 3.16, instead of opening a lightbox with the editor, it directs to a plugin page in wp-content and in the console mentions that jQuery is not defined.

  • I could not edit thumbs with 3.15 neither, and updated to 3.16 hoping to solve the trouble.
In my case, I can’t select the thumb area, no matter what browser, no matter if windows 10 or macOS big sur. It takes the whole picture and moves it.
I’m sending a video to show this.
the upgrade 3.16 only made it worst: now what used to be a dialog shows as a complete page, but I’m still unable to select the thumb

That is the same problem that I noticed with 3.16. Reverting to 3.15 resolved the issue.
