Issue between Polylang and ACF

  • Hello, and first thank for your plugin…
    I have a small issue but I don’t really know if it come from ACF or Polylang…

    I use WordPress 4.0, ACF PRO 5.1.3 and Polylang 1.6.

    I have a custom post type “product”.
    And a field group with 2 location rules:
    – post type = product
    – post taxonomy = french (polylang language custom tanonomy)

    The issue:
    When I create or edit a custom post and try to add a value to any (single or multi) select tanonomy field, the ACF field group (metabox) disappear!
    Note that it only happen when I select a taxonomy using Polylang, when the Polylang location rule is set for ACF group and when I enable the “Load & Save Terms to Post” option of an ACF taxonomy field.

    When there is no issue:
    – When the taxonomy is not using polylang.
    – When I remove the Polylang (post taxonomy = French) location rule.
    – I tried to replace the 2nd location rule by another custom taxomomy and there is no issue.
    – As I have only 2 languages, I also tried with taxonomy != french instead of taxonomy = english … and it seem to work (weird).

    Other issue:
    Always with the taxonomy select field and Polylang. All languages are melted for the select options… This is not the case when I choose a checkbox instead of a select / multi-select.
    But this one is probably due to Polylang.

    Well I just wanted to report the issue, just tell me what you think.
