Issue again after update to latest version 2.67.62

    Hi!
    Just to inform you – after doing the update to 2.67.62 the feed to post stoped pulling feeds.

    I’m running WP 3.9.1 and all was working before the latest update.

    I have made no other changes, not installed any other plugins, not changed any feed etc etc. This looks like the same issu as i hade a while ago using the older version of WP.

    I’m not interested in a “battle” like, what have you changed, what server are you on or things like that. It worked until i updated the plugin to latest version, and again, i have made no other changes!

    anyone else have the same issue?

    Where can i download previous versions of the plugin? My site is now “on hold” due to this issue and i would like to install the previous version asap.

    Never mind – i did restore from server backup.

    ok..it looks like this is happening because of a wordpress deprecated function that happens on some servers using certain versions of php 5.5.

    I’ll post a fix to this on the next (and hopefully last update this week)…sorry about that.

    yes our site too – the upgrade actually blocks out all of the other content on our homepage, so we can’t even keep the plugin activated :\ Is there an older version we can download in the meantime?

    Did you download the latest version? There is nothing in the upgrades that should affect how other content shows.

    also, when you say it blocks out all the other content on your homepage what does that mean? Are you using the shortcode or the feed to post feature of the plugin? The shortcode wasn’t changed at all since several versions ago. If the feed to post, are you saying you weren’t getting new posts?

    1. we are using the shortcode.

    2. when we tried the upgrade the other day what it appears it did was “break” the entire post area. so all of the other content we have in that post area stopped displaying – the page was just a header and footer – blank in between. it happened specifically with the upgrade of the plugin – and resolved upon deactivating the plugin.

    3. we reverted back to the previous version of the plugin and everything is fine again.

    4. we tried upgrading again today and this time we get the same result as the person who started this post, it no longer displays feeds. so upgrade still not working for us :\

    ok….since the upgrade had absolutely no changes to the shortcode, my first sense is that something happened with the shortcode template you are using…can you go into the shortcode settings, choose another template and save. I’m perplexed by what is happening here since nobody else has reported any problems with the current version (especially nothing related to the shortcode).

    also, the person who started this post had a completely different issue related to the feed to post which got resolved in the current version.
