    Hello @himred !

    You’re right: since version 2.8.5 (if you test with 2.8.4 will works indeed) YASR rater.js file is included only if a shortcode exists in a post or page.

    This, of course, may brake the feature “Enable stars next to the title?” if a shortcode is not used (like in your example, because you’re using a carousel)
    I never found out because in my dev environment the theme didn’t use post excerpt (or carousel)

    I’m going to fix this for next version (2.8.9, should be released next week)
