Issue after clicking “Edit site” in home page

  • Hi!

    After updating Site Editor from beta to stable I don’t understand some parts of its behavior. Before in beta, I had just one template index.html and when I clicked Edit Site editor opened very fast with the ability to edit my index.html.

    But now if I click Edit Site I just see unstopped spinner icon and nothing happens. I need to click Edit Site -> Templates -> choose Index and click pen (edit icon). Before it was much more comfortable (especially when I create a landing page and need just index.html). What now load Site Editor when I click Edit Site?

    It’s not depend on theme – I checked it and on default WP themes too

    But now if I click Edit Site I just see unstopped spinner icon and nothing happens.

    It’s likely a problem with your installation, not the designed behaviour of the editor.

    For me, the homepage loads instantly when I open the Site Editor (whereas before you’d see a listing of the various templates.)
