Issue Adding new page

  • We are having a problem when we try to add a new page. We are using Astra.

    Once we press “Add New” it shows a different templates (which are not related to our theme), we click one and then when we try to close the tab that it shows the different templates but it doesn’t close. After that, as a default it shows as a draft and the way that it looks that page is with the template selected with the blog features, and it does not give us the option to add a blank page.

    hope someone can help me with this problem asap!!

    ?As basic troubleshooting, I would ask you to try to temporarily deactivate all the plugins installed on your site. If it solves the issue, then please reactivate the plugins one by one until you notice the issue comes back. The last plugin you just reactivate is the culprit.

    Further, to check whether this issue is theme-related or not, ?please try checking if the issue persists when you temporarily switch the theme to a default WordPress theme, e.g. Twenty Twenty-One. ????If the issue persists even on the default WordPress theme, that means the issue is not theme-related.
