Issue adding custom product field to ?product= page
-
I’m having an issue adding a custom “Est. Delivery Time” field with a default value of 12 to the ?product= window that displays the product.
There is a workaround where I can click on the “Edit this post” in the product window, then click on “Manage additional fields” and then “save” which works for that one product. But it doesn’t work where it should, and more importantly this can’t be done in bulk, only on a one by one basis.
When I go to Ready! Ecommerce->options->product fields and “Add a new product field” enter the data and click “save”, although the new product field appears in the table below, it does not make it to the ?product= page. I ensured the checkbox was clicked in “Show product extra fields” in “Product views”. I checked the page html source and the field is not expressed there with the one for short description and long description, both standard fields.
Additionally, the only field that can be selected when entering a new product is “Delivery Time” which doesn’t match any of the 3 new fields we’ve added. Even if we select that one though, it still doesn’t show. I can also add a new field there with “add custom field”, which does show up, but it does not show up on the ?product= page.
All help appreciated as we need to get these entered in bulk and have a default value. System information follows.
Thank you,
