Issue

  • When testing out the entry form, I received a 404 error page upon submitting a fake yard sale. An email was not sent to the address I input either. Of course the listing didn’t show up in the table.
    The events in both the form and listing codes match.
    I’m not sure if this plugin just is not compatible with the latest version of WP, or if there is some other reason. Ideas?

    I think this is a wonderful plugin and I’d love to be able to use it.

    It should work OK. When you get the 404 page, what is the URL?

    When I get the “404 Not Found” page – it shares the same URL as the page where the lawn sale entry form is located.
    I get this text:

    No Results Found
    The page you requested could not be found. Try refining your search, or use the navigation above to locate the post.

    Sounds like a conflict with the theme other plugin. See if this is true:
    – Switch to a WordPress theme (like 2013 or 2014)
    – Disable all other plugins
    – Try submitting a post again.

    If it works, turn things back on 1-by-1, testing each time until it fails.

    There seems to be a conflict with the theme I’m using. I switched to the 2014 WP theme, and your plugin worked just fine. Now I’ve got to decide where to go from here! Thanks for your advice and I appreciate the quick responses.
