Hi – I use The Events Calendar Pro (www.theglasshub.co.uk) and was hoping to install it again on another site when I was advised by my ISP that it was not recommended.

They list The Events Calendar as being responsible for high CPU usage. I was wondering if you were addressing or have addressed these issues?

    Thanks – Kim

    Hi @kim_angel,

    Thank you for reaching out!

I would be lying if I said our plugin never needs a lot of resources. The resource need however depends on a lot of factors, for example how many events you have in your calendar, what are the available resources in your hosting plan.

We have a large user base and there are calendars with a couple thousand events and no performance issues at all.

It is difficult to say how it would work in your account. I’d suggest to give it a try and check if it suits your needs.

If you need help, we’re always here to assist.

    Cheers,
    Andras
