ISO: On This Day

  • I would find it useful to have a plugin that add a line at the bottom of a post that provides links to other posts that were made on the same day in previous years. This would allow one to see what was being blogged about the previous year(s).

    I envision something like:

    See what we blogged about on this date in 2005, 2004, 2003

    If no posts were made on a particular day, no link would be provide:

    See what we blogged about on this date in 2005

    I have no idea how to even begin creating such a thing.

    Is this doable? Anyone capable of creating something like this?
