ISBN Taxonomy?

    Hey,

    great work on this plugin. I’m about to dive into taxonomies in order to store the ISBN for each book. Before I did that I wanted to check to see if that’s on your development path: I’d hate to duplicate work.

    I need the ISBN to hook into google books to provide the cover image automatically and present the google book preview below the review.

    ISBN is already built in (look in the Additional Information box). It’s not a taxonomy because there would never be a case where you’d have multiple books with the same ISBN (taxonomies are intended to group similar items) so it’s saved as custom post meta. The WordPress search has been modified to accept searches by post meta values so doing a search on the site by an ISBN will pull up the right book.

    I’m interested in seeing what you do with Google Books. Let me know when it’s ready! ??

    OK, found it. You have to enable “Stock” in the options to see the additional information box. I’ll let you know when I get everything plugged together.

    I wondered if that was the case. That’s my bad. The ISBN field was added later, so I just need to make that box persistent. Thanks for catching that.
