ISBN fetch doesn’t work

Have tried pasting multiple different ISBN #s into new review page. My understanding from this page: https://www.greengeeks.com/tutorials/book-reviews-wordpress/. is fetch is supposed to grab title, cover, etc. Clicking fetch results in nothing. New review page remains completely blank. Have tried selecting both Google and Goodreads APIs. It is supposed to do something correct?
