is_user_logged_in() returns true even after wp_logout()

I should have asked a question rather than just putting in code. I have a single sign-on solution that lives on a different server and after I run the wp_logout() I redirect to that site and log the user out there as well. However, when I redirect the user back to the WordPress site it shows them logged in.

Am I missing something? Please help.
