  • That did not work as it does not show the title in the widget and also does not show dates in the large calendat, any thoughts?

Oh my God, you guys are a lifesaver! One of our editors clicked the upgrade button and came running over to my desk freaking out because the site completely crashed, and I was trying everything in the world I could think of to try to revert back to 2.9.2, to no avail. I’m so glad to hear that it’s such a relatively simple fix…we can live without the events calendar for now!

    Thanks again!

Thanks to all for replies. I now have a very happy customer! Will wait for new version to finish updating her site.

    Thanks again.

I upgraded today to 3.0 and I am having this same problem (where I get this message: “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare is_rtl() (previously declared in…”)

I know I have to disable that plug in, but how do I do this if I can’t access the control panel?!

    caryn,

to disable the plugin, you must access your server via FTP and delete the events calendar folder in the wp-content/plugins folder. Hope this helps!

If I can’t log into the Admin page of the blog, how do I disable the Calendar Plug in?

If I log into the host server for my blog, will I be able to identify and remove the Calendar file? I guess I’ll lift the hood and take a peek.

You’re all over the forums today; thanks, ipstenu!

How did someone first isolate the calendar plug in causing trouble? I wonder if they saved their files and removed each plug ins one at a time? Hmm . . . whoever had the stroke of insight, I thank you as well!

Ok I did the above and the site now come up and the plug-in folder renamed and another created.

    BUT….

I get a blank screen when going to admin page
