is_preview should return true

    The wordpress function is_preview() should return true if placed inside the framework\public\views\html.php file or am i wrong? (if opened via the Preview Maintenance Page button inside the administration panel)

    No, the is_preview() function checks if the currently displayed post, page or post type is a preview. Although you are technically looking at a preview, it’s a custom MM one so it doesn’t work the same way.
