    Is wpForo completely free or are there add-ons that require a payment (license)?

    I was just curious if there’s a pro version available that would cost money or if the entire forum plugin is completely free? And if it is free, aside from accepting donations, how does wpForo keep the lights on to provide support and updates for the product.

    Please let me know.

    They say, if you read their documentation, that wpForo itself is entirely free; the addons you see in the top menu cost money. I have implemented it in the past few weeks completely with the free version, gotten help, etc, and it is working great!

    wpForo is a free WordPress plugin, it doesn’t have a Pro version and it’ll always be free. Here you can see the wpForo plugin without any customizations and add-ons: https://wpforo.com/community/

    We’ve also developed paid addons (separate plugins) for wpForo, they add some extra functions and features to your forum.
