• I have been trying for 2 hours to get 1.5 running and for the life of me I have no idea what is wrong.

I just finished doing a fresh install of 1.2.2… running fine

Deleted files per the documentation. Uploaded most recently nightly. And now I am CHMODing files per upgrade doc.

However, the doc says to CHMOD wp-comments.php to 666.

Well, I have wp-comments-post.php and wp-commentsrss2.php, but no wp-comments.php. Because as per the doc, prior to the upgrade it says to delete ALL files except index.php, wp-content.php, wp-config.php and “wp-comments.php and wp-comments-popup.php (if you have customized them; otherwise, you can safely delete them) ” which I hadnt done anything to, so of course I went ahead and deleted them.

So, do I need the wp-comment.php, or does this new wp-comments-post.php replace that? I just fear that once I complete the CHMOD I am going to again run into more errors.

    Thank you for any help/feedback
