I’ve read in a forum that caching google fonts for longer than a day is against Google’s terms and conditions.

I’ve downloaded the fonts that I use with your plugin and it works perfectly! Thank you for that!

But I’ve set my cache plugin (WP Fastest Cache) to cache all elements of my site for at least 1 month. I am wondering this is against Google’s Terms and Conditions.

I love your plugin but just want to know is ok to self-host and cache google fonts.

    Thank you.

    Hey,

No. There’s nothing limiting in Google Font terms about consuming their fonts. All of the fonts on Google Fonts are free and opensource fonts and Google allows downloading any or all of them.

Once you use this plugin and processing is done, fonts are downloaded to your server and served from your server, and Google isn’t involved anymore.

Licenses of all the fonts (all are opensource): https://fonts.google.com/attribution
