Is using it in home page main content area at 2.0 feature?

    I noted in this post that you potentially would include support for featured pages in page content, not just sidebars. Did that ever happen in 2.0? I didn’t see it listed in the documentation.

    The general idea is to use your plugins functionality to occasionally change the featured site section landing pages as part of the home page content. Say you have 10 section landing pages, and you want to feature 4 at any one time for a few months at a time, rotating them through.

    Hi @mhair,

    I think this feature is probably not in the future of FaPW anymore. Instead, I’d recommend you consider one of the following options:

    1. Use some type of feature a page shortcode plugin (example 1, example 2)
    2. Use a widgets in page content plugin (example 1, example 2)
    3. Use a “builder” plugin that supports widget content in pages. I generally don’t recommend these but that is one advantage of using one. I particularly like the Make theme (Make Plus is required for widgets).
