Is Twenty Fourteen obsolete for today’s viewing devices?

  • Hello. I’ve been using WordPress theme Twenty Fourteen for several years now and still like it. But I sometimes wonder if the design (layout code and font rendering) are somewhat obsolete for the different mix of devices and current browsers that viewers use. Any comment on this?

    Hey @zonetuke,

    From a functional/code point of view – TwentyFourteen is still totally ok to use. Not obsolete at all.

    Certainly there are stylistic/design decisions which were more relevant 9 years ago than they are now – but my personal feeling is that it still works for a bunch of uses.

    If you’re still happy using it – there’s absolutely no reason to have to stop ??
