Ok, this plugin has been working beautifully…

But I have just updated to the latest version of Hyper Cache with the newly designed interface, and then all of a sudden…

My web host CPU usage went overdrive from average 75.33 daily to ridiculously high 471.30 CPU consumption.

What is going on here? Were there supposed to be setting we were supposed to configure with this newly updated plugin?

Also, can you provide all the logs and their released dates for when this major redesigned Hyper Cache was updated?

  • Hi Ipex Media, I have this update on one of my website and it works great for me without getting the CPU spike that you mentioned above.

Have you updated any other plugin or theme as well?

I have only updated this plugin for 1 site, and that 1 site caused the outrageously spike, while my other sites that still have the older version didn’t.

Hi Ipex Media create a support ticket at the official website. @stefano will reply faster there.

Hi, have you checked if the returned page are cached? See the official page on how to check it. If give me the address of your site I can check it.

I think I know what it may have been.

When I updated it, I didn’t save with that error message saying changes have not been saved still there on top of the HYPER CACHE setting page, nor did I click on the IMPORT OLD SETTINGS, which I didn’t even notice was there.

I assumed all the settings were still the same so didn’t have to do anything.

Hopefully, things should be back to normal now with CPU consumption with my host not taking my site down again find out in a couple days.

    No, this does not work.

Now all my other sites that wasn’t updated to this new designed interface has doubled in CPU usage.

Yes this time I did click the import and save for all of them.

I’m switching back to the odder version.

Who says change was good? Why change something when it’s working fine
