    I need to do a redirect that goes:

    From:
    oursite.com/item/stuff

    To:
    oursite.com/stuff

    This is for hundreds of urls in which only the “item/” is removed. These are both live urls, but different versions in which we don’t want anybody to see the first version.

    Will this plugin do this?

    You can add this redirect as the following:

    from folder “oursite.com/item/stuff” to folder “oursite.com/stuff” and use wildcard feature.
