Is this the advertising WordPress inserts?

    On one of the www.remarpro.com website pages I support, I noticed a couple of hyperlinks appearing which I did not provide. Both point offsite to advertisements. Is this an example of advertising inserted by WordPress? Is this what would disappear if we paid to prevent advertising?

    Is this a wordpress.com site or a self-hosted WordPress install?

    Maybe you have installed (without knowing) an AD extension / plugin for your Web browser.

    It happened to me with firefox.
