• Hello. I’ve just discovered this plugin, installed, set some images to “Do not lazy load”, cleared cache, regenerate Elementor CSS but the loading=”lazy” attribute of those images is still there.

Is this plugin still working or maybe latest Elementor updates have messed up things a little bit?

    Thank you.

    Hi @mrprainx

thank you for reporting this issue.

The cause of this issue is not Elementor but the WordPress core.
They first introduced the lazy load to all the images. Then someone understood lazy loading the first image that appears on the viewport is not a good idea. Instead of giving the possibility to remove the lazy load from the first image they decided to replace the lazy load with the async decoding to all the images.
This choice completely disoriented this plugin.

I suggest you update to version 0.0.3. It works for me now with Elementor 3.18.3.

    Have a great day!

    Hello @giuse.

First of all thank you for promptly addressing the issue.

I’ve just updated and tested (flushing cache and regenerating CSS) but I still see my images lazy loading.

You can see it live on a test site here: https://marcop257.sg-host.com/
And here’s a screenshot of the settings of one of the images: https://snipboard.io/WhRd6M.jpg

P.S. Not a great idea on WP’s delevopers side to think about generically lazy load images! ??
