Is this safe for WP v5.2?

    Hi,

    I need to uninstall Wordfence on my site as it’s slowing it down too much.
    Is this current version safe for me to install and remove from my WP 5.2 install?

    It does say this version is untested with my current version.

    Please advise.

    Hi @djmods,

    The best way to uninstall Wordfence completely is to make sure you’ve checked Remove all tables and data on deactivation within Wordfence -> All Options.

    If you have Wordfence currently uninstalled, you can reinstall it just to check that option and then perform an uninstall.

    Alternatively, you can go into the database and manually remove any table starting with wp_wf*.
