Is this relevant for virtual and/or downloadable products?

Thank you for your question, virtual and downloadable products like software or plugins can be uploaded to Google Merchant Center. For products without UPC/EAN identifiers, you can use the ‘identifier exists’ attribute with a value of ‘FALSE’ to let Google know that your product doesn’t have a GTIN.

This should help you list your digital products. Hope this helps!

But does this comply with Google Merchant Center terms and conditions?

I’m confused. I did some research about the possibility to submit digital products on Google Merchant center and I found the following results:

• i am selling a digital product, how can i set it up on Google Merchant Store – Google Ads Community
  • Which links to this Unsupported Shopping content – Google Merchant Center Help

But at the same time, when I google “windows 10 license”, I can see suggested products from Google on top of the search engine result page.

Is your plugin an official plugin from Google?

I checked the Unsupported Shopping content and it does not have software or plugins listed anywhere.
