• I’ve got no axe to grind, I just would like support with wpmu sitewide tags plugin from someone who is prepared to see the task through.

It’s hard to fathom how I’ve spent 6 days and near enough 50 hours trying to achieve what the plugin is supposed to do (namely pass through taxonomies and post formats), and I’ve persevered in the belief that by cracking the problem I’ll be able to share the solution with others. But my overall feeling is that I’m wasting my time. The only conclusion I can reach is that it doesn’t work – because I’ve not been able to find ‘anyone’ who’s extended it in the way I need .

Look I’m not a developer by trade (although I started cutting code more than 25 years ago), I’m an executive who runs a business with thousands of developers and staff and I know what to expect from a professional support team – although I am fully aware that everyone here is freely donating their time and it’s all about give and take. That’s why I was prepared to give back to the community once I had solved the issue.

But I’m deeply disappointed by how much effort I’ve had to put in to chase down support for such a simple issue.

If what I’m saying doesn’t bother you, then I’ll leave you all alone, but if you’d genuinely like to see others achieving something worthwhile with these tools then perhaps you might take a look at my recent postings and let me know if I’m trying to achieve the impossible.

    Thank you for listening.

FREE support is here. By volunteers only. All of whole have real jobs. So we don’t reply super fast when we’re busy.

Ron Rennick wrote the plugin. He knows what he’s talking about.

If you need MORE help from Ron, you pay him for it. He needs to make a living, and he can’t do it if all he does is free support ??

Closing this. It’s not beneficial, and it doesn’t speed up our ability to help you.
