• Hi Everyone

I do not know if this is possible but maybe someone out there would be able to tell me. I am looking for a plugin that will fetch an rss feed from a site and then fetch an article from another site and post both as either a post or a page?

So for example the rss fetch takes the first feed and then posts that as the title and then from the second site it posts as the body?

Does anyone know if this is even possible?

    Thanks in advance

    Try this: https://www.tipandtrick.net/2008/how-to-fetch-and-show-rss-feeds-on-wordpress-blog-atomrss-aggregator-plugins/

That said … I feel I should warn you that doing that is the nature of a lot of spam blogs (splogs) and it’s generally frowned on to steal (yes, steal) other site’s contents.

Now if you’re just sharing posts between your own sites, have at. If you’re taking someone else’s hard crafted work, shame shame. Put up a link instead.

Just in addition to what you said. Some sites give permission to do so, or give permission when asked.

    Hi Guys

Thanks for the input. There is no way that I would resort to spam. This is a project I am trying to get off the ground at the moment and just looking into a few things. I will not be stealing anything. I am planning to pull the info off news sites and putting accreditation to the news sites that the info came from. Do you think I will need to ask these sites to copy their content or is it ok that I copy the content and put links to the original article on these sites?

This is mainly for my visitors who are craving certain types of news items and I thought I could give them that through my site via the rss off the news sites?

    Thanks
