• …to have all of your posts from a currently running blog, to be imported into your main index.html in a table? Sorry if the question is noobish, I just started with this great program ??

  • All posts? What if you have 5,000 posts?
Into html file? Not easy. There might be a way to use RSS feeds in your html file, google for it.
    (and tables are bad ??

not all the posts, just like the latest 3-5, looking for more content on my main site, and thought this would look spiffy

OK. If you can change that (main) index.html to index.php it would make your life easier – in regard to importing posts.

ok, my blog is located in the sub folder /blog/ of my host, and im talking about the main index.html for the whole site, its already slightly coded and I was just wondering if there was a string of code I could insert in a table to display the last 3 posts under /blog/? Yes I can change the main site to a php extension no problem, but how can I go about importing? Sorry for your time, I appreciate every little bit that you tell me ??

    *reading customizing feeds now*

What you need (when you have a .php extension) to find a “feedreader” – either search for it here in the forum, or look around in the Codex at Plugins.

Then with that feedreader installed you can display the feeds from your blog wherever you want on your main site.
