Is this plugin working?

I might be stating the obvious but check you have the Enable Product sync ticked in WordPress in Marketing/ Facebook/ Product sync tab. And you’ve added your settings there.

Yes I did that and it appears to be syncing but nothing goes to Facebook. I saw another post here with the same problem but I am not allowed to add to that post, I had to start a new one.

In addition to what @maryb77’s mentioned, there are a few other things we can immediately check here:

1. Are your products set to “Sync and Show”?

2. Are your products perhaps virtual products? If they are, these are not allowed according to Facebook’s e-commerce policy, and so won’t be synced to Facebook.
3. Was your Facebook shop previously set up outside of the Facebook for WooCommerce extension? If yes, then you’ll want to check that your Facebook page is connecting to the correct catalog according to this guide.

If you’ve checked all of these, our next suggestion is to turn on debug logging for Facebook by going to Marketing > Facebook and checking “Enable Debug Mode.” Please then try another manual sync there and share with us the most recent Facebook debug log you see under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. You can paste it in your reply to us here.

Please give my suggestions a go and let us know if they help!

No I don’t have virtual products. I enabled the log file and it shows all the products so I am just pasting in the response part here for you to see, it seems to be an error with aliases?

Sorry I didn’t make it clear! The “Facebook sync” settings I referenced above would be product-specific. When you go to edit or create a product, it should have a “Facebook” tab that you can select. You’ll see the “Facebook sync” setting there:

Next, the logs you shared show the following: Some of the aliases you requested do not exist. This may be related to some of your Facebook business areas – ads, catalogue, or shop – currently being in Draft mode. If your business areas aren’t live on Facebook, they’re not accessible for syncing with the API.

Could you please let us know if you have anything in your Facebook business setup that is not yet live or public?

Why is that not available? I am using the plugin Version 2.3.5

2nd question yes the Facebook page is live and no ads are in draft mode but there is a shop and it is empty as no feed is coming in.

I have rasised a ticket with Facebook but they keep sending me back here to raise it with the plugin developer.

Hmmm… that is very curious! We did just release the latest version of the extension, version 2.4.0, but even on 2.3.5, you should have the Facebook tab on your products.

This leads me to believe that the extension may not have been connected to Facebook at all. To check, when you look at Marketing > Facebook > Connection, are you seeing information on your connected Facebook assets? Specifically, are they not blank like in this image?

If they’re blank, please update to the latest version of the Facebook extension first then try reconnecting again.
