• Resolved TWD

    (@twd)

From looking at the support threads, I assume that it is still active.

Therefore, can we get a changelog update please?
We have a policy of dropping any plugin that hasn’t had an “update” for more than 1 year.
It also says “untested in last 3 WP versions” which is a little concerning.

I’m sure everything is fine, but if we could get a “support bump” it would offer reassurance that the code is at least being actively reviewed.

    cheers.

  • “If it’s not broken, don’t fix it” can come into play, but https://github.com/barrykooij/related-posts-for-wp/pull/95 shows that there are proposed updates for version 2.1.x that are still hanging out there since 2017 with 2.1.x not really having much of a timeline, it seems.

It’s entirely possible that there’s still ongoing support (especially for the paid upgrade), but ongoing development seems to be limited based on past activity.

I’d love to see more activity on this since this really could be a go-to option for something like this with its manual specifying of related content feature that many/most other options are missing.

    Hey @kzeni, @twd,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

The development has been a bit slow in the last few months but we are still supporting this plugin. We do not plan to release any new updates immediately but we are actively looking for any issues.
