Is this plugin still needed for auto updates?

    Dear Sir,

    We thought that wordpress does automatic updates to wordpress and its plugins?
    If we ONLY use this plugin for those functions. Is this plugin still needed?

    Seems like it there is an overlap. And we want to minimize plugins on our webshops.

    WordPress does allow automatic updates

    However, with EUM, you can enable or disable automatic updates for all your installed plugins with just a single click.

    It also lets you customise your automatic update settings. You can use this plugin for both themes, plugin and core.

    You can also disallow specific users from updating plugins, themes and core and EUM provides logs so that you can determine what and when something is updated
