Just saw another star rating plugin add GDPR compliant to their plugin so I don’t know if this plugin is already GDPR compliant or dose it need to add GDPR compliant? This is the one I use so I thought I should check on this to be safe. Thank you.

    Hi there,

We’ve made some changes recently to help you be compliant with GDPR. This includes the removal of IP address tracking. There’s an existing setting to enable duplicate checks via cookies. Please note this cookie is optional and does not contain any PSI data. Also, the plugin has always supported the function to remove user data. So yes this plugin comes with the necessary tools which will help you comply with GDPR.

If you have not done so, please review the GDPR regulation as there’s some roles and responsibilities which website owners need to be aware of and adhere to. For example, a privacy policy and cookie disclaimer may need to describe what user data is stored and for what purpose.

    Have a nice day,
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

Thank you so much for the kind reminder. That’s exactly what I need to do.

    Have a great week.
