Thanks for the feature. Just a few questions:

    1. GDOR is related to EU regions. Other regions don’t need this feature. How is the plugin handling this?

    2. Is the plugin giving the user two options for Accept/Decline cookie?

    3. Is there a way to change consent?

    4. Unless consent is given the AMP plugin won’t store any cookies (from third party ads, google analytics etc). Am I right in assuming this?

    Hello @solid_snake

1- YES GDPR is related to EU regions, and we have made a ticket on GitHub about it to show the GDPR only to EU users.

2- Yes, its gives accept/decline options for a cookie.

3- yes you can change the consent, like text, color, can you please tell us which consent you are talking about.

4- yes you are correct, its store cookies from third-party ads google analytics.

    Hello!

Thanks for the response and my apologies for not following up sooner.

Regarding pt 1: can you please let me know when this feature is coming?

Regarding pt 3: What I meant with consent was that if a user accepts/refuses and later on the user changes their mind, can they change their decision? Is there any pop up UI for the same?

Regarding pt 4: Just confirming. So it will block ALL cookies unless consent is givem. Am I right?

    Hello @solid_snake

1- we already made a ticket on GitHub regarding this as you know and in a couple of days you will see this feature in the updated version of our plugin.

3- Yes, it is possible user can change it by clicking privacy setting option which is displayed bottom of the page.[see this screenshot:https://take.ms/Pz0Dm%5D

After click on the privacy setting the pop up will appear again.

4- Yes it will block it until consent is not given by the user.

    Hello,

    One more important thing.

As per GDPR, Google Analytics should track IP anonymously. Is your plugin already doing that?

You can read about it here: https://www.jeffalytics.com/gdpr-ip-addresses-google-analytics/
