Is this plug-in still updated ?

  • Hi team,

    I am running with wordpress 5.7.2 and PHP 7.4, them extra (from elegant theme)

    I would like to use this plugin, but it has not been updated since 7 months now, and is it is written on the dowload section: “not tested with your version of wordpress”.

    So my question is this plug-in still updated ? can you use it safely with this configuration ?

    Yes you can. There is nothing to update, so I did not update it?

    hey @gamerz – thanks for the plugin; I think the best thing to do is just to update the compatibility line and add a decimal upgrade on the plugin itself. That’ll signal to the community the continued life of the plugin

    I have my reservations about that too. I bump the version number before (no code changes) and I have users coming to say it is broken, but the thing there is no code changes.

    Thanks for your answer Lester. However i am using wp rocket plugin, and i just noticed there is a cleaning database tool.

    Do you think it is efficient ?
