Is this a virus or hacker?

Hi,

I am having real bad problems getting this website up to a good speed and I have done so many things. Once I have done a test on the site I noticed that there are around 3 files that are taking way too long to load!

I noticed contact.css comes back with a 404 report so its not found and i have even looked on the server but it is not there. Im not sure why it is still looking for it? Its not even a part of the theme i am wanting to use?

The next big culprit is this gif image! 24.5 seconds to load?! What the hell is that? I dont recognise it all, this is the root directory of it. Is it a virus or hacker?

Lastly down.gif – again this folder is not on the host – so i am very puzzled to what this could be. Why is it still being loaded and giving a 404 error even though the theme doesnt require it? Strange.
