We are a multi-site install. Never used Atomic Block on a live version of anything. Now using Genesis Blocks – and we love it.

However, we noted that fontawesome web fonts are preloading crossorigin for all sites in the multi-site install. Page Speed (as you might imagine) is not very happy about this.

For now I have deEnqueued Font Awesome.

Is this intended or some bug with multi-site?

    Thanks

    Jim

  • @jimwalczak Is Genesis Blocks active on all sites on the multisite? Or is it only active on one, and you’re still seeing FA enqueued on all other sites?

Genesis Blocks was activated via network – FA Deenqueued via custom function.

I’m still seeing FA via Incognito – not as logged in. I’ve cleared all cache’s – but apparently not everything has reached me yet

@jimwalczak Was the custom function running on every site on the network, too?

    (@jimwalczak)

Correct. Custom functions loaded via call from theme function.php

So, the custom function loads for all 32 subdomains

@jimwalczak Hey! I just checked out https://thefuntimesguide.com –?love what you’re building there. I couldn’t see font awesome loading on the frontend, though. I also tried tech. and photography., and it wasn’t loading there, either.

Thanks for checking in on that and sorry for the trouble. I guess my cache was telling me lies as I can NOT see it now either.

    Thanks – marked as resolved.
