Is there support for sub-categories and image series?

    At my camera club we have competition categories with sub-categories.? For example, the Nature Images category has sub-categories of Botany, Zoology and General.? For a single instance of the Nature Images competition, each member may submit a total of three images, spread across the sub-categories as they wish.? Also, each member has a Competition Division they belong to, being Beginners, Advanced or Masters; and the awards are determined separately for the images in each division. ?Does Entry Wizard’s competition structure support this without having to define each sub-category or member division as a separate competition altogether?

    We also have competitions for which a single submission consists of a series of images, to be viewed and judged as one entry.? Depending on the competition, this series has a minimum and maximum number of images for the series comprising an entry.? Does Entry Wizard support this type of competition?

    So far as I can tell from your description, yes, I think EntryWizard would be able to handle your requirements. Although

    1. You would need another plugin to store the level associated with each member
    2. I’m not quite sure I understand your meaning for “sub”-category

    I’d suggest you install it and try setting up one layout for your Nature competitions and another for your “multiple-images” competitions.

    Thanks for responding to this – I appreciate it. What I mean by sub-category, such as Zoology, Botany and General in Nature, is that while the Nature competition is considered a single competition, the image scores are ranked separately within each sub-category and awards are determined separately in each sub-category and for each member Division (Beginners, Advanced and Masters) as far as Honourable Mentions and Runner Ups go. There is still only a single Top award per member Division, and a single Best of Show award selected from the 3 Top images.

    I think your use of the term “sub-category” would correspond to the use of “category” in EntryWizard
